growing and expanding mental health services in the Brockton
Community for patients experiencing an acute mental health crisis
requiring a crisis intervention assessment and connection to
services. As part of the Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC)
initiative, Brockton High Point will be transitioning to become the
new Mobile Crisis Intervention (MCI) agency for the Brockton
community and surrounding towns. MCI services provide 24/7/365
crisis intervention services for patients experiencing mental
health crisis, including increased mental health symptoms, concerns
for safety to self or others, and seeking access to services.
Crisis evaluations support patients and families in assessing the
crisis and determining the next step and referral for treatment,
including: Inpatient hospitalization, dual diagnosis services,
Adult Community Crisis Stabilization (ACCS), outpatient services
under the CBHC for adults and youth, and referrals to external
agencies for other services. High Point will be hiring for multiple
positions to support the opening and operations of the MCI services
for adults and youth. Individuals hired will have the opportunity
to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of
professionals includes licensed clinicians, Master's level
clinicians, certified peer specialists, patient resource
navigators, nursing, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists, medical
physicians, and psychologists. As a member of the MCI team, you
will also become connected with a large and growing treatment
agency to provide multiple opportunities for patients seeking
treatment within a strong continuum of care for both mental health
services, substance use treatment services, and dual diagnosis
care. Clinical Director Duties & Responsibilities Evaluation of the
efficacy of the program daily schedule, making appropriate changes
as needed Develop and implement goals and objectives for the
program to meet performance specifications; Assist with the daily
functioning of AMCI/YMCI Services as needed including but not
limited to: supporting the call center, conducting diagnostic
evaluations, linking members to referrals, providing consultation
to staff and the community as requested, developing safety plans,
assisting law enforcement, etc; Monthly supervision with
supervisory staff and staff clinicians as identified by the
Director of Emergency Services; Regular consultation/meetings with
the Director of MCI Services (expectation is to seek additional
consultation/supervision as needed); Create and maintain 24/7/365
staffing schedule Maintain ongoing relationships with MCEs and
referral sources; Attend community-based meetings including but not
limited to DMH, Interagency, System of Care, CCIT, etc; Conduct
community outreach of AMCI/YMCI services to community as needed &
approved by the Site Director of MCI Services; Conduct identified
annual trainings in accordance with identified core competencies
and MCE training requirements; Monitor and manage data collection
and reports as requested; Provide AOC coverage; Follow parameters
set by MCEs; Complete required program documentation, forms and
mandated reports; Implement and review policies and procedure on a
regular basis collaboratively with supervisor; Monitoring of
adequacy and appropriateness of patient (member) care; Ensure that
clinical activities are carried out in accordance with HPTC's
written plans for quality assurance, utilization review/management
and staff growth and development; Advertising, interviewing, hiring
and training of all new clinical and support staff; Preparation of
reports and correspondence in response to licensing and
accreditation boards; Insures confidentiality according to 42 CFR
part 2 and HIPAA regulations; Provide direct services to clients,
which will include but not limited to evaluations of clients;
Individual, group and/or family counseling, crisis management, and
aftercare planning. YMCI Clinical Director: Primary point of
accountability to the youth component of the CBHC and YMCI program.
Shall provide clinical oversight and quality of care across the
YMCI. YMCI Clinical Director shall have experience working with
children and adolescents, and knowledgeable about the youth systems
of care. AMCI Clinical Director: Primary point of accountability to
the adult component of the CBHC and AMCI program. Shall provide
clinical oversight and quality of care across the AMCI. Other
duties as assigned by the Site Director and/or COO. Clinical
Director Requirements Must present as courteous and professional at
all times. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to perform multiple
tasks. Must have excellent communication skills, including the
ability to organize ideas in logical and clear fashion. 2 or more
years of supervisory experience with administrative duties Clinical
experience as an emergency service crisis clinician Excellent
organizational and time management skills Excellent knowledge of
resources in the community Full knowledge of all current program
specifications, MCE mandates, required administrative demands and
documentation requirements Full knowledge of all program job
description requirements Possession of a valid driver's license and
reliable transportation Must have the ability to work with others
in cooperative and collaborative manner. TB screening.
Certification in the HPAO approved de-escalation program. Strong
and effective verbal, written and organizational skills. Knowledge
of basic computer skills and software programs including the
ability to learn, use and train HPAO`s electronic medical records.
Ability to provide leadership and program development within an
outpatient site. Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and
behavioral health best practice. Clinical Director Qualifications
Independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, including:
LICSW/LMHC/LMFT Master/Doctoral degree in Human Services related
field such as psychology or social work. Minimum of three (3) years
of clinical supervisory experience and five (5) years of behavioral
health counseling experience, with at least 1 year preferably
providing crisis intervention services. Employment Type: Full Time
