Job Description Certification Details - Licensed Clinical Social
Worker (LCSW) - Professional License/Certification as required for
the position Job Details - The Behavioral Health Home Hospital
(BHH) Research Social Worker/Case Manager supports an innovative
care delivery model offering specialized psychiatric-care services
in patients' homes as an alternative to inpatient psychiatric
hospital admission. - Provides quality clinical services to
patients in various community settings, delivering
hospital/inpatient-level treatment. - Collaborates with
professionals to address psychosocial, environmental, age-specific,
and cultural issues to maximize well-being and effective use of
healthcare and community resources. - Utilizes clinical social work
techniques for consultation, assessment, treatment interventions,
and advocacy. - Sees patients in person at their homes or remotely,
managing up to 4 patients at a time. - Ideal for someone interested
in a temporary position working on a research trial to broaden
treatment opportunities for patients with active acute psychiatric
conditions. - Position begins on 1/5 with schedule depending on
caseload, approximately one hour per day. Job Requirements - Must
hold a professional license and/or certification as required for
the position. - Primary source verification of professional
license/certification within 30 days of start date and updated upon
expiration. - MA Conditional Licenses not accepted. - Must submit a
color photo taken in past 6 months with specific guidelines. -
Documentation of immunizations and health screenings including MMR,
Influenza Vaccine (required during flu season), Hepatitis B
(strongly preferred), Tdap (preferred), TB Test within 3 months of
start date, and Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365
days of start date. - Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days
of start date and updated annually. - Criminal background checks
including MGB Criminal Background Check within 45 days prior to
start date, Massachusetts CORI within 30 days prior to start date,
National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated
annually, and Exclusion Checks within 30 days of start and
annually. - Must provide 2 recent references, including at least 1
supervisor or above in skillset. - Must submit MGB Resume including
past 7 years of work experience with city and state. - Completion
of MGB Skills Checklist and Candidate Submission Coversheet
required for submission. - Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation
required if fit test is required. Schedule Information - Schedule
depends on caseload, approximately one hour per day. - Position
begins on 1/5 when the trial begins. Additional Details - MGB Badge
Photo required for onboarding. - MA Conditional Licenses not
accepted. - No religious exemptions considered for Fit Test. - Flu
vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no
exemptions or waivers. - Fit Test cannot be done onsite at any
location except Martha's Vineyard & Nantucket if traveler extends
beyond original assignment. - Positive PPD requires negative chest
x-ray documentation. - Health Statement must be updated if >6
month break. - Criminal background checks must include
international searches if applicable. - MGB Education Verification
required through background check company.
