Job Description:
Provides actionable insights that inform business decisions,
drive winning strategies, and enable the company to capitalize on industry
trends. Plans and executes secondary market research studies in support of
corporate strategy. Leads the design and execution of horizontal,
vertical, and geographic market-sizing projects, trend studies, trend
forecasts, opportunity analyses, and performance benchmarks. Develops
research and analytic methodologies and identifies potential sources for
market research and analytics. Manages, gathers, validates, and analyzes
information and perspectives from both internal and external sources and
presents findings to project owners, department heads, and executive team members.
Captures market information and builds complex analytics, econometrics,
and deployment models in Excel. Leverages PowerPoint to communicate
synthesized findings and analyses into story-lined PowerPoint decks.
Communicates synthesized, executive-level analyses with clear messages and a
fact-based point of view in a story-lined report. Requirements: Master's degree in Business Administration,
Marketing, Data Analytics, Marketing Informatics or related field (willing to
accept foreign education equivalent) plus 3 years of experience
performing market research and intelligence. Or, alternatively, a Bachelor's
degree and 5 years of experience as noted above. Experience must include: 5
years leveraging quantitative and qualitative research methods,
including observation of market trends, in depth interviews, and
qualitative case studies as well as statistical and sampling methods, including
surveys, statistical and sampling methods; 5 years leveraging Excel to
build enterprise market-sizing models to support market and
competitive an analyses; 5 years leveraging external analyst firms such as IDC,
Gartner or or Forrester to draw out relevant insights to support product,
market, and bu business analyses; and, 5 years managing and executing research
and an analytical projects, including scoping projects, developing
hypotheses, co conducting primary and secondary research, and building complex
analytical mo models to analyze and validate information, and communicating
