• Maintains smooth operation of a variety of networks. Plans, evaluates, designs, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network.
• Maintains technical expertise in all areas of networks and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing.
• Provides regular monitoring and network analysis regarding short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.Required Education, Experience, & SkillsProfessional Skills

• An active Secret Clearance is required.
• Must be able to obtain a Security+ or equivalent security certification within 6 months of starting.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex problems in a production environment.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma and 10 plus years of relevant experience.
• Ability to independently research solutions to problems and propose viable solutions.
• Ability to work with multiple teams to accomplish complex tasks.
• Comfortable working with multiple vendors in a heterogeneous environment.Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with at least one virtualization platform.
  • Good understanding of Cisco and Juniper technologies.
  • Experience with LAN switching technologies such as VLANS, spanning tree, and ether-channel.
  • Capable of configuring network routing protocols such as Static OSPF & BGP.
  • Comfortable with Firewall routing, policy, and inspection.
  • Familiarity with configuring and managing NAT devices.
  • Experience with IP-Sec VPNs and GRE.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
    • Security + or equivalent certification.
    • Experience with various WAN technologies such as MPLS and Ethernet.
    • Familiarity with networking requirements for high performance storage systems.
    • Experience with network virtualization and SD-WAN.
    • A basic knowledge of programming languages like Python.
    • Understand EVPN-VXLAN overlay architectures.
    • Experience with VMware network architectures.
    • Use of data center orchestration technologies such as Apstra.
    • Familiarity with multicast technologies and anycast routing.
    • Experience with high speed Ethernet technologies (25GB, 40GB, & 100GB physical implementation).
    • Familiarity with public cloud technologies.
    • Work in a GitOps style automation pipeline.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $130,355 - $221,603Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
