Job Description:
Constellation, a leading energy company renowned for its
comprehensive portfolio including power, natural gas, renewable
energy, and energy management solutions, is searching for a Shift
Manager to oversee operations in our Energy & Utilities department.
The role is critical in ensuring efficient and safe power
generation and distribution. The successful candidate will bring a
dynamic blend of leadership, operational acumen, and a solid
understanding of the energy sector to optimize our workforce and
resource management. Oversee daily operations of the power
generation and distribution facilities. Coordinate and direct the
activities of the operational team during assigned shifts. Ensure
compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Implement effective strategies to achieve operational efficiency
and meet production targets. Monitor energy production and
distribution systems to identify and rectify operational issues.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate maintenance and
repair activities without disrupting ongoing operations. Provide
training, support, and guidance to new and existing staff. Prepare
and review operational reports and schedules to ensure accuracy and
efficiency. Manage emergency response activities if incidents occur
during shift operations. Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards
in the energy sector. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making
skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Technical
proficiency in energy management systems. Capability to work under
pressure in a dynamic environment. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
preferred. OSHA Safety Certification is an asset.
