Test and Validation Engineer, you will play a critical role in
developing and improving test processes to meet customer
requirements. You will leverage your expertise to design, test, and
troubleshoot complex electronic assemblies and test equipment,
working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure
product performance, reliability, and compliance with industry
standards. This role also involves mentoring junior engineers and
driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is a second shift
position which includes an 8% added pay differential. What You Will
Do - Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs), including test
instructions, workflow/routing, labor standards, and tool/fixture
designs. - Create and execute test plans, procedures, and
strategies to validate product and system performance. - Provide
technical support for manufacturing areas, including process
troubleshooting, incorporating engineering changes, and maintaining
test equipment. - Disposition non-conforming materials, perform
root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. - Analyze
test data to identify performance trends, troubleshoot issues, and
ensure compliance with specifications. - Collaborate with design,
manufacturing, and quality teams to define test requirements and
resolve technical challenges. - Drive qualification and
certification efforts while ensuring compliance with industry
standards and regulatory requirements. - Mentor junior engineers in
test methodologies and best practices. - Present findings, test
results, and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and techniques to
enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Adhere to safety protocols and
company policies during testing activities. Qualifications You Must
Have - Typically Requires a Bachelor's degree in Science,
Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of
relevant experience. - Experience with data acquisition systems,
instrumentation, and analysis tools/software (e.g., LabVIEW,
MATLAB, Python). - The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S.
government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship
is required, asonly U.S. citizens are eligible for a security
clearance. Qualifications We Prefer - Strong knowledge of testing
methodologies, systems, and equipment. - Excellent problem-solving,
analytical, and troubleshooting skills. - Strong communication and
collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional
environments - Master's degree in Engineering or related field. -
Experience in aerospace or defense testing environments. -
Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the
ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Knowledge and
ability to apply RTX CORE principles and techniques. - Expertise in
test requirements interpretation, schematic diagram interpretation,
and experience with commercial test equipment for testing and
troubleshooting. - Demonstrated hands-on electronics aptitude. -
Understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) principles, including wave
propagation, signal modulation, and attenuation. - Familiarity with
RF system design and performance analysis, including antennas,
filters, amplifiers, receivers, and transmitters. - Knowledge of
frequency bands, spectrum allocation, and relevant industry
standards (e.g., FCC regulations, MIL-STD-461). - Proficiency in RF
testing methodologies, such as signal integrity, noise measurement,
and power output testing. - Hands-on experience testing and
troubleshooting RF circuits and systems. - Practical experience
with RF test equipment, such as spectrum analyzers, network
analyzers, signal generators, and power meters. - Application of RF
principles in areas such as radar, communication systems, or
satellite systems. - Experience in RF shielding, grounding, and
thermal management techniques. - Innovative mindset to drive
continuous improvement and keep pace with evolving technology. -
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Project,
Word), statistical evaluation tools (SPC, data distribution
analysis), and shop floor tools (PRISM, PDM, CMES). - Active DoD
security clearance (secret). - Experience with refurbishment and
repair processes, including handling Government Furnished Material

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily
onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as
they are essential to the development of our products. As part of
our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates

for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
