Job Description:The RoleAs a member of the Personal Investing (PI) Risk leadership team, one is responsible for building and monitoring the Personal Investing risk programs. In this role, you are responsible for leading, advising and collaborating with senior executives to implement strategies and develop programs that promote business initiatives, while ensuring risks are proactively identified and mitigation strategies are implemented.\u00A0
The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor s degree required
    • 10+ years of financial services experience
    • 5 years in a compliance, risk, or legal role in financial services with a solid understanding of processes, controls, and mitigation strategies
    • Experience establishing risk appetite frameworks and governance programs
    • Proven track record of attracting, developing and inspiring high performing teams
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Self-starter, relationship builder, and strategic problem solver
    • Sophisticated ability to understand, research and analyze complex financial, legal, risk and operational processes
    • Advanced presentation and communication skills
    • Strong writing skills, with an ability to make complex topics understandable
    • Skilled at interactions with employees at all levels
    • Collaborative in fast-paced and changing environment
    • Ability to influence key decision makers, including senior executives through a combination of knowledge, reasoning, and relationships
    • Able to execute and deliver work in a fast-paced environment
    • Establish and maintain a strong risk governance program that facilitates business growth while protecting Fidelity and its customers
    • Coordinate business acceptance reviews to assess risks associated with potential high-risk clients and new products
    • Help a rapidly growing business enhance their control program that appropriately mitigates risk
    • Partner with business leaders and senior executives to promote a collaborative environment that helps the business meet its goals while ensuring it stays within its risk tolerance

(\u201CFBS\u201D), providing dedicated risk support to Fidelity Personal Investments (\u201CPI\u201D). PI is the retail distribution arm of Fidelity Investments, building lifetime relationships with customers and helping them save and invest through individual accounts. PI Risk is a dedicated central function whose mission is to cultivate a culture of appropriate risk management.\u00A0 They are responsible for identifying and ensuring appropriate management of all risk aspects including operational, reputational, and financial risk to protect Fidelity and its customers, and promote business and market integrity. The Vice President will be a key member of the Distribution and Global Risk Extended Leadership Team helping to drive Fidelity s Risk Management program across all distribution channels.Please see below for the salary range for work locations in Colorado only:N/A
