We are currently sourcing for a Senior Event Manager to work in our
Smithfield, RI location!
The RoleIn this role you will deliver best in class event
experiences for the firm's associates, clients, and prospects. They
will have a natural curiosity about the business strategy and use
their skills to create and flawlessly implement programmatic
experiences that support the objectives.
The candidate will be experienced in the development of broad
initiatives, while engaging in project management, including
creating and managing budgets, creating timelines and workplans,
leading planning meetings and working teams, and collaborating with
senior leaders to provide frequent status updates. We are looking
for a good communicator who keeps colleagues and partners informed.
You will be in command of complex event logistics, including, but
not limited to sourcing and managing speakers and vendors, and
creating dynamic production schedules.
The Expertise and Skills you Bring
The TeamThe dynamic Meetings and Events team collaborate with
business partners on the planning, budgeting, and design of all
internal and client events. The team manages over 1000 events a
year with a focus on creating seamless and memorable experiences
that support business and firm-wide objectives.
Dynamic WorkingAt Fidelity TalentSource, our goal is for most
people to work flexibly in a way that balances both personal and
business needs with time onsite and offsite through what we call
'Dynamic Working.' Most associates will have a hybrid schedule with
a requirement to work onsite at a Fidelity location for at least
one week, 5 consecutive days, every four weeks. These requirements
are subject to change.
