Job Description: The RoleSince 1999, the Fidelity Center for Applied Technology (FCAT) has served as an innovative technology resource for Fidelity Investments. We share our research, experiments, and concepts with colleagues and clients to propel our firm forward.As part of the FCAT Strategy and Planning organization, the Fidelity Experience Center (FXC) located within FCAT at corporate headquarters in Boston, MA is an award-winning innovation hub and experience destination designed to showcase Fidelity innovation. The team is responsible for preparing, delivering, and supporting client & associate briefings virtually, in person, and through hybrid formats.This role will be 100% onsite in Boston, MA.The Expertise We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5 years industry experience; 3 years of Fidelity experience preferred
• Technically savvy, able to troubleshoot tech issues independently and confidently

  • Experience in leading and managing others, with a proven track record of success in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience in research, experimentation and production builds across geographic locations, providing resolution to incidents and fix technical issues.
  • Proven skills in root cause analysis of incidents, identify and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience with macOS and Windows operating systems, with a solid understanding of computer hardware and software.
  • Define critical path of project, anticipate potential obstacles and act to overcome them

    • Lead technical teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the successful operation of the facilities
    • Collaborate with leadership to develop and support implementation of a comprehensive technology strategy, including the selection and integration of new technologies for audio-visual control system, visual presentation solution, and Robotics.
    • Envision and develop Digital Twins for prototyping visitor flow and optimizing the user experience
    • Provide technical support for client tours, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for visitors and showcasing the capabilities
    • Offer engineering support for a broad array of immersive applications, including resolving technical issues.
    • Support user onboarding and device management ensuring a smooth and intuitive experience.
    • Create and implement test plans and release notes to ensure compatibility and functionality within the VXC ecosystem, and coordinate with Events and Tours to minimize disruption and ensure seamless execution.
    • Develop performance measure and reporting around various areas, including equipment performance, incident management, and problem management, with a goal of continuously improving experiences and operations.Note: Fidelity is not providing immigration sponsorship for this positionThe TeamOur team conducts tours of the Fidelity Experience Center and delivers presentations to internal groups and external businesses to showcase innovation. The team helps to connect Fidelity business units with FCAT initiatives to provide an understanding of current and planned projects, the benefits of new ideas and emerging technologies that may be of value in the next 3-5 years and beyond.Reporting to the Head of Emerging Technology Incubator, the Technology Director will be responsible for delivering the technical strategy, implementation, and support of the visitor experiences. These are cutting-edge spaces that showcase Fidelity's spirit of innovation and approach to emerging technologies, including, but not limited to, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, IoT, Mixed Reality (MR), Spatial Computing, High Performance and Quantum Computing. The ideal candidate will be customer focused with a solid technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams to drive innovation and growth while delivering the technology needed for outstanding service.Travel:Up to 25% Certifications: Category: Information TechnologyFidelity's hybrid working model blends the best of both onsite and offsite work experiences.
