Job Description WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a local contract nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Providence, Rhode Island. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract at a prestigious hospital in North Providence, Rhode Island. Job Function: /n - Night Shift. /n - 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM. /n - Manage the care of adult and pediatric patients with life-threatening conditions, requiring complex assessments and high-intensity therapies. /n - Provide emotional support, education, and comfort to patients and their families throughout their emergency room experience. /n - Maintain close communication with the healthcare team and independently recognize the need for early intervention. /n - Prepare patients for surgery or diagnostic testing, ensuring all necessary pre-operative procedures are completed. /n - Perform medical procedures including IV insertion, intubation, medication administration, blood draws, and other critical interventions. /n /n /n /n /n Job Requirements: /n - 2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty. /n - Hold an active State RN license (or willingness to obtain). /n /n - 2 years of acute care experience in the relevant specialty. /n /n - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association. /n /n /nDisclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
