Job Description:

for our Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and Neurological
Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU). This position offers a unique

care. Provide direct nursing care in a diverse and high-paced ICU
setting, managing complex patient conditions. Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams to design, implement, and evaluate patient
care plans. Utilize advanced nursing skills to support patient care
with ventilators, monitors, and other critical care equipment.
Educate patients and their families about conditions and treatment
plans. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and
maintain a safe and clean working environment. Participate in
research and case studies in conjunction with ongoing clinical
trials and medical research. Document patient care services by
charting in patient and department records. Proficiency in clinical
skills with an emphasis in SICU and/or Neuro ICU. Capability to
operate complex machinery and monitoring equipment. Excellent
interpersonal communication skills. Strong decision-making and
problem-solving skills. Ability to perform effectively in
high-pressure situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in
the state of New York. Certification in Critical Care Nursing
(CCRN) preferred.
