Responsibilities Lead nursing teams on Medical-Surgical units by
coordinating patient care, staffing and flow as the charge RN
Integrate collaborative care planning with interdisciplinary teams
to ensure individualized, high-quality care Oversee patient
assignment and maintain safe patient ratios (up to 6:1) while
delegating appropriately to LNAs Use Epic EMR effectively to
document assessments, plans and handoffs with accuracy and
timeliness Mentor and support bedside staff, offering clinical
guidance and escalation to Nurse Lead or House Supervisor when
needed Ensure compliance with hospital policies, state regulations
and documentation standards to keep patients safe Communicate
clearly with patients and families to provide compassionate,
patient-centered care Qualifications Active New Hampshire RN
license or Compact RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
Minimum 3 years current Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing experience
(required) Charge nurse experience (required) with a supervisory
reference from the past 2 years Active American Heart Association
BLS (required) Active American Heart Association ACLS (required)
Previous travel nursing experience preferred Own vehicle and local
transportation (required for this need) Permanent address included
in profile and all required documentation uploaded at submission
Education Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN);
BSN preferred Knowledge & Skills Strong Medical-Surgical clinical
skills and care planning experience Proficiency with Epic EMR
(highly preferred) Leadership skills for charge duties: staffing,
triage, and escalation Ability to work with patient ratios up to
6:1 while ensuring safe, quality care Effective communication with
interdisciplinary teams, patients and families Time management and
prioritization during busy 12-hour night shifts Comfort supervising
and delegating tasks to LNAs and coordinating with nurse leadership
