Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities: Patient
Care : Administer medications (cardiac, anticoagulant), provide
direct patient care, and manage care plans. Emergency Response :
Respond to life-threatening cardiac events with interventions like
defibrillation or cardioversion. Patient & Family Education : Teach
about heart health, lifestyle changes, medications, and
post-discharge care. Collaboration : Work with cardiologists,
respiratory therapists, and other staff to coordinate care. Cardiac
Monitoring : Continuously track heart rhythms (EKGs/ECGs) and other
vitals (BP, SpO2, RR) using specialized equipment. Data
Interpretation : Analyze cardiac rhythms, identify abnormalities
(arrhythmias, ischemia), and alert physicians for timely
intervention .
