At Albany Medical Center, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our dynamic M2 Orthopedic/Spine unit. This individual will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care within a continuously evolving environment that integrates education, research, and technology with clinical practice. This position provides an opportunity to work closely with top professionals in a state-of-the-art facility committed to outstanding clinical outcomes and patient well-being. Provide comprehensive patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to patients on the Ortho/Spine ward. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes. Engage in patient and family education regarding post-operative care and pain management. Maintain and monitor patient records ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Participate in ward and hospital-wide health initiatives and quality improvement activities. Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while adhering to hospital policies. Proficient in using electronic medical records and healthcare software systems. Strong understanding of orthopedic and spine care techniques and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Orthopedic Nurse Certified (ONC) preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
