Job Description:
Albany Medical Center invites applications for the position of
Clinical Nurse III in our General Medical/Surgical unit. This role
is pivotal in delivering exceptional care that mirrors our

Nurse III, you will engage in our mission to improve health by
exhibiting proficiency in clinical skills and leadership
capabilities in a dynamic hospital setting. Provide comprehensive
nursing care to patients in the General Medical/Surgical unit.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members to facilitate
integrated and comprehensive care. Participate in bedside rounds
and collaborate with attending physicians to assess patient
conditions and plan treatment. Implement patient management plans,
administer medications, and monitor recovery progress. Educate
patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and
healthcare management after discharge. Ensure the highest quality
of care by adhering to safety protocols and healthcare standards.
Supervise junior nurses and support staff, providing guidance and
mentorship. Proficiency in managing various health conditions and
surgical recovery. Strong ability to operate medical equipment
related to general surgery. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills. Capability to make quick, informed decisions
in a fast-paced environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice; BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
