American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: - Previous travel
experience (at least 6 months) - Experience with EPIC EMR - Ability
to work posted schedule - Traveler must have their own vehicle
Description: The registered nurse will be responsible for
formulating an individual plan of care. They will revise the care
plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment. The nurse
will evaluate the overall effectiveness of the plan. They will
coordinate and supervise patient care as necessary. Demonstrates
the ability to organize and prioritize job functions. Utilizes
assessment data to identify patient care needs, including patient
education and discharge planning. Recognizes and reports abnormal
assessment data. Incorporates findings into the plan of care.
Validates and revises expected outcomes based on assessment.
Accurately and legibly documents all patient care activities. This
includes wound assessment, patient teaching, medication
administration, and all assessment forms. The nurse will delegate
tasks appropriately to other healthcare team members. The patient
population includes both pediatric and geriatric patients. The
nurse-to-patient ratio is generally 1:5, with a possible increase
to 1:7 on nights. The facility uses EPIC EMR for documentation.
Dress code allows for any color scrubs. Requests for time off must
be included prior to submission. No more than 5 days of requests
for time off will be accepted. Block scheduling requests will not
be considered for this need. Experience in telemetry or progressive
