travel Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) for a Level I Trauma Center
acute care hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience
and the ability to work independently in emergency and inpatient
portable imaging settings. Details - Short-term acute care hospital
with 1,567 staffed beds, operating as a Level I Trauma Center and
academic medical center - Generalist radiology role supporting the
Emergency Department and inpatient portable imaging for both
pediatric and adult patient populations - Daily caseload is
variable, dependent on ED and portable inpatient imaging volume -
Emergency Department equipment includes Fuji imaging systems;
portable inpatient fleet consists of Carestream units - Charting
performed in Epic - 3x12-hour evening/night shifts: Monday and
Friday 3:45 PM–4:15 AM, with every other Saturday and Sunday 3:45
PM–4:15 AM - Every other weekend required; no on-call requirement -
Block scheduling can be accommodated Requirements - Minimum of 2
years of experience as a Radiology Technologist - Active ARRT
certification required - Active state license required; pending
licensure accepted if active prior to start date — license required
if applicable - Demonstrated ability to work independently in an
Emergency Department and/or inpatient portable imaging environment
- Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations - Trauma
center experience at a large facility required - 1 professional
reference required for consideration Additional Information -
First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Candidates must live
more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this
position - Former permanent staff must have been separated for at
least 2 years before being considered as a traveler - RTO of up to
7 days may be auto-approved; requests exceeding 7 days require
additional facility approval - Flu vaccination is required;
declinations are not accepted - COVID vaccination and booster
required; religious and medical exemptions are accepted - Teal
scrubs required - Parking is available at a cost of $125/month
