registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years Stepdown RN
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. Seeking experienced RNs with
Stepdown nursing skills for a travel opportunity in progressive
care at a premier medical center in Enfield, NH. This role offers
an engaging nursing environment in a 10-bed progressive care unit
specializing in complex neurological and surgical cases including
neuromuscular disorders, meningitis, primary stroke care, traumatic
brain injury, spinal cord injury, and various surgeries such as
tumor resections and spinal procedures. The unit also participates
in innovative Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus (NPH) trials involving
lumbar drains. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert nursing care
to patients with complex neurological and surgical needs. - Manage
and monitor arterial lines, ventriculostomies, subdural and lumbar
drains. - Administer and monitor vasoactive medications, low dose
pressors, inotropes, Mannitol, and hypertonic saline (3%). -
Perform hemodynamic monitoring, including invasive blood pressure
assessment. - Care for patients requiring Bi-PAP, C-PAP, and
tracheostomy ventilator support. - Manage complex wounds and
post-surgical lines, tubes, and drains. Desired Experience: -
Proficiency in hemodynamic and invasive arterial BP monitoring. -
Skilled in ventilator management for trach C-PAP patients. -
Experience with critical care medications and fluid management. -
Familiarity with neurological ICU equipment and complex
neurological patient care. - Ability to provide compassionate care
to critically ill patients in a stepdown setting. Schedule: - 36
hours per week - Day/Night rotation Location: Enfield, New
