Year Up is seeking an experienced and passionate Computer Systems Administration Career Training Program Instructor to join our team and help bridge the opportunity divide. In this role, you'll facilitate a dynamic learning environment where young adults acquire the critical technical skills in systems administration necessary to excel in todays technology-driven economy. As an instructor, you will leverage your knowledge and experience to inspire students and guide them through a curriculum that integrates both academic concepts and hands-on practice, preparing them for competitive internships and subsequent career opportunities. Deliver engaging instructional content and manage classroom dynamics. Guide students through the design and implementation of systems that support large-scale enterprise environments. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning. Collaborate with other instructors and Year Up staff to refine and update curriculum materials based on industry trends. Support students in their professional development by sharing insights into career paths in systems administration. Prepare students for industry standard certifications in systems administration. Proven expertise in computer systems administration, including configuration, troubleshooting, and network security. Strong teaching or training skills, preferably in a diverse educational environment. Ability to assess student learning and adjust instructional methods as necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. CompTIA A CompTIA Network Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) or equivalent certifications desirable.
