GMO. Department Profile: The Network Engineer will be a key member
of the Network & Security team which is responsible for the
day-to-day operations and architecture of GMO’s global network. We

success. GMO currently has two physical data centers as well as
multiple Azure cloud-based environments globally. GMO also supports
multiple remote office locations globally including London, Sydney
& Singapore. This position is based in Boston. Position Overview:
GMO is looking for a skilled senior network & voice professional
with experience in network operations, design, and deployment,
working on a highly available network infrastructure. The candidate
must have strong troubleshooting skills, be able to balance
creative solutions with the ability to work within a
change-management maintenance environment. The ideal candidate will
have experience in deploying and maintaining Cisco based
networking, Microsoft & Cisco voice implementations and Azure Cloud
Networking. You must enjoy working as part of a high performing
team and be prepared to work outside of usual business hours and in
locations outside of the corporate offices supporting our data
centers and remote offices, as needed. Primary Responsibilities: ·
Maintain the global enterprise network including wide area and
local area networks as well as IP convergence. · Maintain our Azure
cloud networking environments which include: VNET creation &
peering, VPN/ExpressRoute Gateways, and Express Route Circuit
implementation and support · Install and maintain routers and
switches in various network configurations supporting VLANs, Qos,
VoIP, and advanced access-lists. · Monitor and evaluate the
network, make recommendations, and deploy solutions to enhance
network performance · Ensure that network issues arising on a
day-to-day operation are identified, reported, and resolved in a
timely manner. · Monitor and maintain the global voice systems
including; o Cisco voice router management ( CUBE/SBC ) o Microsoft
Teams Calling Environment via Direct Routing o SIP Connectivity via
Masergy and OneStream o Cisco Unified Communications Manager v14.x,
Unity Connection v14.x Job Requirements: Experience with switching
and routing in wide and local area networks Experience supporting
enterprise wide and local area networks Azure Cloud Networking
Experience Cisco Voice Router (CUBE/SBC) experience Management of
SIP Connectivity Microsoft Teams Calling with Direct Routing
experience is vital Cisco Unified Communications Deployment &
Support experience is vital Expertise in networking protocols
(TCP/IP), Layer 1 connectivity via multiple medias, and network
management concepts Dedication to neat and effective cable
management Solid knowledge of BGP and EIGRP routing protocols and
WAN connectivity options Dedication to neat and effective cable
management Excellence in testing and documentation of procedures
Experience in implementing and monitoring network event logging and
analysis Experience with packet capture and interpretation
(Wireshark) Experience in Configuration & Change Management
processes Advanced level networking certifications such as
CCVP/CCNP (Cisco) –helpful This is a reasonable, good faith
estimate of the current salary range for this role. GMO’s salary
range accounts for a wide array of factors that are considered in
making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill
sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and
training; specific qualifications, performance, time in
role/company, geographic location, and other business and
organizational needs. In addition, this position is eligible for a
discretionary annual bonus award, which award may be determined by
individual, team, department and firm performance, and is subject
to the terms of GMO’s compensation plan. This position is also
