The Senior Director, Caremark Strategy will be responsible for working directly with Caremark leadership to develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to drive differentiation and profitable growth across a portfolio of products and services and to ensure alignment and advancement towards CVS’s enterprise strategy. The role will report to the VP, Enterprise Strategy, and will work closely with the Caremark VP, Strategic Planning and Caremark President on developing the strategic plan, prioritizing key strategic opportunities, and identifying opportunities to work with the full Executive Committee on a day to day basis.

Required Qualifications

•10+ years of leadership experience in Strategy and/or Corporate Development within healthcare, with focus on expertise and experience working in the PBM segment.

•High -level of skill and experience required in process definition, often in ambiguous situations management consulting, financial analysis, public policy, mergers and acquisitions, operations and/or marketing

•Strong relationship and project management skills across all levels within an organization and with relevant external constituents

•Demonstrated experience developing analyses, presentations and support material to successfully implement strategy or change initiatives, plus ability to generate new ideas and new potential deals

•Demonstrates strong leadership and collaborative skills with success building and leading integrated, multi-functional teams in an agile, fast-paced environment

•Mature problem solving, analytical, oral and written communication, and presentation skills; advanced MS Office skills

•Experience working in innovative, fast-paced, tech-forward environments, and experience in operational roles, a plus

•Demonstrated ability to take accountability and drive to desired results with passion, ambition and aptitude

•You will have high standards AND be deeply devoted to your team

•Expresses ideas clearly, concisely and logically

•Makes effective and persuasive oral and written presentations for senior executive audience

•Ability to represent the company effectively

Education

Bachelor's Degree Required. MBA preferred.
