Job Description

The Distribution Store Services call center agent supports all 12,000 CVS stores(both pharmacy and front store), the 19 Distribution Centers, and field management concerning warehouse deliveries, product flow and store/customer service. The agent utilizes web-based call logging software to record, track, report and resolve open issues. The position also assists stores, field management and Distribution Operations management by performing billing/credit procedures, maintaining management reporting, manage and maintain agent queue and completing other tasks as assigned. Support the Distribution Center network with outbound call volume as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be Customer service driven, friendly and courteous with superior telephone etiquette
  • Ability to work both independently and responsibly in a high paced team environment
  • Consistently meet and exceed productivity and quality customer service metrics
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and tactfully
  • Effective ability to de-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patience and support
  • Excellent listening skills and ability to articulate ideas
  • Positive attitude and ability to adapt to changing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively adapt to unpredictable surges in workload; including but not limited to flexibility with work shift hours
  • Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail with proven excellence in problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to meet scheduled deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience working in a call center/help desk environment
  • Minimum 2 years previous retail experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access
  • Bi-lingual


Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
