Office Location (or Remote): Rhode Island (ideally - on-site at CVS with client), however open to candidates that can commute easily to R.I. on a weekly basis such as Boston or Connecticut. Alternatively, we may be open to candidates in Chicago given that they can be seated with the broader GSK account/creative team.

Position Title: Account Executive (must be seasoned AE)

Performance Opportunity:

Opportunity to join a team that manages both the brand and retail sides of the consumer healthcare business. Scope of work includes product launches, retail specific programming and daily shopper communication for award-winning brands.

The Account Executive will sit at CVS (post-pandemic) supporting the CVS Retail team. They will work as a part of the business leadership team to support and grow the consumer healthcare business and portfolio. This individual will have the opportunity to lead the day-to-day management and implementation of programs and initiatives and ensuring flawless program execution.

Integral to the success of this position is the ability to work with all levels and roles within the organization from strategy and insights to creative to studio to accounting/finance and other account teams, as well as third-party vendors and service providers.

Specific details include:

  • Possess a minute-by-minute knowledge of all work in process
  • Develop project briefs with client input, secure approvals and brief creative department.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide recommendations to clients on creative needs/project direction
  • Ensure recommended work delivers against assignment brief.
  • Initiate jobs and clear, concise project request forms
  • Work with production and creative to ensure timely and accurate delivery of work based on the identified needs of the client
  • Manage all program elements against timelines
  • Develop oral and written client presentations and/or communications
  • Advise on post-program evaluation and make appropriate recommendations

Experience Desired

Hard skills (brand, retail, digital, production, research, etc.):

  • Must have Retail/Shopper Experience - CVS or other Drug Retailer preferred

Soft skills (client/team culture, communication style, flexibility, etc.):

  • Passion for shopper marketing, specifically focusing on retail customers in the drug, grocery, club, and/or mass space
  • Minimum of two to three years of relevant work experience
  • High standards, a strong work ethic and be able to function autonomously, while retaining team membership and spirit
  • Ability to act maturely and with flexibility in an ever-changing environment
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities with strong organizational skills
  • Display thorough and accurate communication
  • The ability to meet or exceed client expectations in the area of business leadership, industry/category/brand knowledge with a strong understanding of industry channels and market conditions
  • The ability to drive and/or assist on the steps necessary to get various projects completed and programs launched
  • Willing to learn and understand internal systems to manage projects and financials
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, as well as, Smart Sheets preferred

Any knowledge/ability mandatories:

  • CVS experience preferred
