Job Description:

Our client, a social services organization located in Boston, is seeking an Intake Coordinator to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This onsite role will have hours from 9AM-5PM and is compensating $22 an hour. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration!

Responsibilities:
Cover the front desk during business hours (Monday-Friday)
Conduct client intakes and participate in orientation sessions
Assist walk-in clients and answer inquiries about services
Coordinate with community providers and conduct outreach
Schedule intake appointments and send enrollment reminders
Review applications and follow up on missing documentation
Input demographic information into enrollment systems
Ensure intake data is accurately recorded in agency databases
Maintain updated lists of community resources
Track outcomes and report monthly enrollment figures
Perform additional tasks as assigned


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a human service field or relevant work experience
Strong time management and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient with computers and email platforms
Adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Team-oriented and able to collaborate with external partners
Familiarity with barriers associated with homelessness, returning to the community from incarceration, and substance use preferred
