Your day to day as a DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF - ADULT RESIDENTIAL As a Direct Support Staff in our Adult Residential program, you can expect to assist residents with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication management, and household chores. Your role will involve providing emotional support, fostering independence, and creating a fun and nurturing environment for our residents. You'll work a variable schedule that includes shifts on all days of the week, from 3pm-11pm, 11pm-8am, and more. Each day will bring new opportunities to engage with our residents and make a positive impact in their lives. Requirements for this DIRECT SUPPORT STAFF - ADULT RESIDENTIAL job To excel as a Direct Support Staff in our Adult Residential program, you should have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience to effectively communicate and connect with residents. Problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset will help you navigate various situations and provide the best care possible.
