Competitive Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 based on experience


Location: HQ office is 200 Shrewsbury St. Boylston, MA. Must be able to come in-office and make site visits to the surrounding area. The ideal candidate would need to be familiar with the New England area.

Assistant Estimator Overview:

The Assistant Estimator will work with larger general contractors on a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include helping to assist with project take-offs including estimations, helping with site visits, gathering materials/bids/specs, proposing submittals, and beyond. Projects include both commercial and industrial development sites such as city parks, colleges/universities, office buildings, apartment communities, strip malls, etc. The goal is to groom this new hire into our Lead Estimator within a few years!

Account Estimator Requirements:

• 2+ years of landscape and site construction estimating and/or project management experience for site developments
• Experience with ProCore or similar take-off software preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
• High-degree of organization and detail accuracy
• Strong time management skills
• Flexibility to drive to various job sites within the greater New England area

Account Estimator Responsibilities: 

• Provide accurate take-offs
• Estimate materials and labor for commercial projects
• Form strong relationships with estimators, architects, project managers, procurement managers, and owners
• Commit to deadlines and deliver accurate estimates
• Manage and respond to RFI's and submittals during the job acquisition process
• Attend on-site pre-bid proposals
• Attend job site meetings
• Ability to multi-task and have flexibility in job duties
• Manage current and new relationships
